A bedroom is the one room in the house with a single job — helping you fall asleep and stay asleep. Most bedrooms fail at this by trying to also be a study, a wardrobe display and a photo backdrop.
Start with the bed, then stop
The bed frame should be the only piece of furniture the eye lands on first. Everything else — side tables, a bench, storage — should sit slightly lower and quieter, in tone and in scale, so the room has one clear anchor rather than competing focal points.
Warm light, low and layered
Overhead lighting belongs in a kitchen, not a bedroom. Two bedside lamps at roughly eye level when seated in bed do more for a calm room than any ceiling fixture ever will.
Our Halo Bed was designed around this idea — a low, solid frame that anchors the room without dominating it, built to sit quietly under whatever the rest of the room needs to say.
